On behalf of Kilometre Capital, Chris Hsu orchestrated and singularly led Tsinghua University in its landmark acquisition of 51% of H3C and Hewlett Packard China.A $4.6 billion transaction was done for the leading internet, data storage, and network equipment business of HP. This Hewlett Packard transaction was one of the most important precedents and joint ventures in US-China technology history. 

Tsinghua University has earned a lot of prominences ever since and has been ranked as the top University in China, leaving Beijing University behind. Chris Hsu, from Kilometre Capital, is famous for his significant investments. One such strategic expenditure by Mr. Christopher included an early-stage investment in SpaceX, a leading private space exploration corporation. Founded in 2002 by Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Motors and former PayPal entrepreneur, SpaceX’s main aim is to reduce the cost of space transportation and enable the colonization of Mars.

  • Under a partnership with NASA, SpaceX flew numerous cargo resupply missions to the International Space Station.

H3C Wins Recognition for 5G Technology Effort

The honored recipient of a BS in management science engineering from Stanford University’s School of Engineering, Chris Hsu is an accomplished senior executive with a proven track record of delivering precedent-setting consolidation and strategic outcomes across global technology verticals. The CEO of Kilometre Capital, a leading consulting and advisory firm based in Hong Kong, Christopher Hsu and the Kilometre Capital team orchestrated, advised, and led Tsinghua University and its affiliates in its landmark $4.6 billion acquisition of a majority shareholding stake in Hewlett Packard China and H3C.

Importantly, H3C has won the bid package for the 2021 centralized procurement projects of STN-B products due to the company's successful 5G bearer network construction, which has driven the high performance of H3C's products.
